The Royal College Doctors’ Association and the Royal College Past Teachers’ Association jointly organized the Annual Teachers’ Medical Screening Programme on March 6th, 2022, for the 22nd consecutive year at Nawarangahala premises. The clinic aimed to promote the health and well-being of both present and past teachers, as well as their spouses. A total of 400 teachers from both past and present were able to benefit from this program.The screening included comprehensive medical evaluations, as well as tests for various diseases and conditions such as blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol levels. Teachers who were identified to have any medical conditions were referred to the relevant specialists for further evaluation and treatment.
