On the 7th of September 2024, old Royalists in Melbourne united together at the Pullman Melbourne on the park to celebrate yet another unforgettable Royal Gala, and what an amazing night it was!
Hosted by the Royal College Old Boys in Australia Association, 40th edition of the Royal Gala is the highlight of a year packed with eight sporting and social events designed to nurture fellowship among Royalists. True to the spirit of our association, the Gala is not only a night of celebration but also the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts to support ongoing initiatives.
A Night of Celebration with Purpose
More than just a celebration, the Royal Gala 2024 served a greater cause. Staying true to our commitment to give back to the Royal College community in Sri Lanka, this year we doubled our contribution to the Royal College Retired Teachers Medical Fund. In addition, we sponsored 15 more young Royalists by covering their hostel fees, bringing us one step closer to ensuring that financial hardship doesn’t stand in the way of education. These efforts continue to build on the Loyalty Pledge, through which we have supported approximately 180 students to date.
