A project to improve the environs of the War Hero’s’ Monument, Cadet Square & the Lobby was carried out at a cost of Rs250,000. Moreover, over Rs125,000 was spent over the quarter for the regular upkeeping of the cadet band bus, fuel, payments to driver, cleaning, washing and running repairs. A further Rs.750,000 was spent on repainting of Cadet Band Room, furniture, and upkeeping of storage cupboards. Furthermore, nearly 80 musical instruments, including 30 donated by ORCBA, were serviced and repaired at a cost of Rs125,000. Additionally, each instrument was marked with serial numbers and an inventory created for maintenance.
