Diran Hamer, the captain of the Royal College team, achieved a remarkable milestone at the 2025 South Asian Youth Table Tennis Championships held in Kathmandu, Nepal. He led the Sri Lankan U19 Boys Team to a silver medal in the team event and also secured a bronze medal in the U19 Boys Doubles. Notably, Diran became the first Royalist in seven years to captain the national junior team, marking a significant achievement. His outstanding performance also earned the under 19 team qualification for the upcoming Asian Championships.
