EDEX that has been at the helm of nurturing Sri Lanka’s future leaders to pursue rewarding education and fueling employment, is directing energy towards the ‘shepherds’ of education i.e., teachers. At the request of the school administration EDEX is initiating and funding a project for a Teacher Training Center at Royal College at a cost of LKR 8 million. With the guidance of the Principal, the EDEX management committee of the RCU, hopes to facilitate the training of teachers in modern practices and tactics over traditional teaching practices such as memorizing and theoretical learning so that students everywhere can benefit from educational excellence.
