The “Healthy Royal Smile” project was initiated in 2014 in line with the “save molar project” launched by the Ministry of Health. The project aims to provide dental care for Royal College students who are at a high risk for dental caries. In 2022, the project was organized for the seventh consecutive year by the Royal College Doctors’ Association. A large focus was on grade 2 where 305 students of the grade were screened, and 82 students in high risk for dental caries were enrolled for further treatment in phase 2. Around 100 students receive treatment annually under this program approximately valued at around Rs. 2 million.
